Date: Friday Sept. 25th 2026

Location: Fairfield County Fish & Game Protective Association: 310 Hammertown Rd Monroe, CT 06468

8:00am - 10:00am: Breakfast & Registration

Breakfast will be served during morning registration. Meet old and new friends over coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Come Hungry!

8:00am - 10:00am: Optional Pre-Shoot Warm Up

There will be five(5) pre-shoot warm up stands available for use between 8-10am - optional

10:00am - 1:00pm: Sporting Clays Shoot

includes 18 stations encompassing 1 mile of groomed trails thru the woods. Shooting stands are set to challenge the experienced and nurture the beginner. On the day of shoot you will be assigned a squad. Group options are available too.

1:00pm - 2:30pm: Post Shoot Fun & Games

After the shoot, gather for hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, browse auction items, and relax with a beverage or cigar. As scores are finalized and tallied,

2:30pm - 4:00pm: Lunch & Awards

There will be a seated lunch servered with refreshments with awards ceremony

6:00 Dinner Event

Event will include a ceremony, food trucks, drinks, seafood .... dressware is casual . Guest Tickets are available for purchase on Give Smart.

Live Auction:

Live Auction is available for viewing and bidding throughout the day via website/txt updates. At lunch time the auction closes and winners are announced.

Do you supply Ammo?

Yes, shotgun shells are included for each guest located at stations. Shells will support 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge

Do you provide shotguns for the event?

No, Shooters must provide their own shotguns.

Who Makes the Team Squading?

If you have preferences for a team squad, we suggest you purchase the "foursome squad package" or the "Golden Grouse package" to reserve a squad of four(4) ppl. Otherwise squads will be managed by members of the Board. Email us: Contactus@norbertbuchmayrsociety.com. for Squad preferences we will do our best to process individual requests.

Do I need a Golf Cart?

The grounds at Fairfield Fish and Game are well maintained dirt paths and make for nice walking. However if you would like a cart to help lighten the load we suggest to purchase in advance. Note that the "golden grouse sponsorship package" and the "Foursome squad package" include 1 golf cart. Single shooter package will require you to purchase a golf cart separately if that is your preference.
